Welcome, I'm Ramir, a product designer with a background in psychology, behavioral health, and HR.
I began my career in behavioral health and HR, mainly in the autism care field. That work taught me how differently people understand complexity, move through systems, and make decisions. Over time, that focus on people, clarity, and structure led me into product design.
Based in Los Angeles.
Remote, hybrid, or on-site, wherever the work is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in real needs, I’m interested.
My path into design is still growing, shaped by the people, systems, and product experiences I’ve worked with along the way.
Experience

Principle 01
Agile principles over rigid process.
I work from agile principles: people over process, useful outcomes over heavy documentation, and continuous iteration over fixed assumptions.
Principle 02
Sprint-minded execution from idea to clarity.
I use design sprints and structured exploration to move from loose problems into clearer concepts, testable flows, and practical next steps.
Principle 03
Cross-functional collaboration with shared ownership.
I like working closely with product, engineering, research, and stakeholders so decisions are aligned, understood, and easier to carry through execution.

Other Facts
A few things keep me balanced outside of work: new cities, ocean views, basketball, and the small zoo I live with at home.
I love to travel! I’m drawn to places that balance calm and energy, like quiet coastlines, thoughtful stays, and dense city views that make you want to keep walking.
Home life usually includes spending quality time with my dog, my cat, and my birds. I find it hard to not be around them for too long.
I love sports, but basketball is the one I always come back to. Huge Lakers fan, for better or worse, every season.
